Life Aboard A Sailing Boat - Teva Sandals

Living aboard a sailboat is a great way to enjoy retirement. It is not only fun it's a very economical way of life.

My better half and I stopped in 1994 when he was 49. We bought our boat, in May 1994 in the area south of Clear Lake Houston. I sailed the boat to the British Virgin Islands six months after purchase and that is where he stayed for the next eight years.

My comments are for people who need to retire to live aboard a sailboat in the Caribbean. That was eight years of fun in the sun, and he was sure cheap, less than $ 1,000 per month.

Why so cheap? Good question. Birds of a feather?

Why so frugal? They will do anything to avoid returning to work.

Clothing, for example ... by asking, I dragged a few trunks, a t-shirt ... it is. I had two collared shirts, one or two pairs of slacks (the church), a pair of
Teva Men's Tanza Sandal ... Teva sandals.

Wife wardrobe, even thousands, swimsuit cover up and down to earth. A pair of cotton dresses and long ... you guessed Teva sandals.

Because you use the local transport minibuses, you do not act very ... just groceries.

Vendors do you encounter on the water are those of the lobster for sale or trade.
Teva Men's Tanza Sandal guests paid $ 500 a night we paid zero, and we had a better view.

Storms, not a problem, problem, your sailing between the islands was short. VI in Trinidad, the longest pass of 95 miles ... BVI to St. Maarten. You're not in a hurry if you can not retire because of the economy ... think again. Living aboard a sailboat in the Caribbean is fun and frugal. Enjoy.
